What does shipping cost?
Zone 1 Customers:
- Ground - $30 per box weighing up to 25 lb.
- Next Day Air - $130 per box weighing up to 25 lb.
Zone 2 Customers:
- Ground - $35 per box weighing up to 25 lb.
- 2nd Day Air - $155 per box weighing up to 25 lb.
Zone 3 Customers:
- 3 Day Select - $85 per box weighing up to 25 lb.
Where do you ship?
We ship throughout the contiguous US. All orders are shipped UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, or UPS Next Day Air.
When do you ship?
Orders ship on Mondays only and must be placed at least 5 days prior (by Thursday) to ship on that following Monday. Select "Shipping" to see the first available shipping date. Due to space constraints, there are a limited number of orders that we can ship out each Monday. When that limit is reached, the shipping calendar will display the following Monday as the next available day. Tracking information is emailed when orders ship.
Do you have expedited shipping options?
For states that take an estimated 3 or more days for ground shipping, we strongly recommend selecting 3 Day Select or Next Day Air. Please note that food will not arrive frozen for transit times of three or more days.
How are orders shipped?
Our food is sent out frozen and tightly packed. We pack your order in bio-based green cell foam insulated shipping boxes with dry ice and ice packs to ensure your order stays as cold as possible. Learn more about our green cell foam shipping liners here.
What should I know about dry ice?
Your package may contain dry ice when it is delivered. Dry ice is extremely cold and can burn your hands. If dry ice is present, please use gloves while handling it. However, do not be alarmed if there is no dry ice present; it has sublimated during shipping.
How much food fits in a box?
Our boxes hold up to 25 lb of food each. It's most cost-effective and will help keep the food frozen if the box is full, so aim for about 25 lb. Shipping orders over 25 lb will ship in multiple boxes. There's a weight calculator that keeps track of the accumulated weight as you add items to the cart.
What if my order is delayed?
The majority of our shipments are delivered on their estimated delivery date, but delays can and do happen. If your package is delayed, DON'T WORRY. We pack all of our shipments with enough coolant to withstand extended transit times, and they almost always arrive in great shape. Meat that is still cold to the touch can be safely refrozen with no loss of quality -- you can learn more about freezing and defrosting meat here. If you have any concerns about your order, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Do not refuse your delivery or discard your package before speaking with us, as this will prevent us from being able to properly resolve the situation.
Boxes often sit in hot warehouses and on hot UPS trucks so your food may arrive partially thawed. We cannot guarantee that orders will arrive frozen. By purchasing our products, you are accepting that products may arrive partially thawed and there is no guarantee orders will arrive frozen.
We do everything we can to mitigate the risk of shipping frozen food around the country. Things like transit delays are outside of our control and we are not responsible for delays in transit caused by UPS errors, high package volume, weather, mechanical error, strikes, civil unrest, natural disasters, terrorism safety control, local carrier mis-scans, or inaccurate shipping information. We do not require a signature for the release of any shipment. Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore entirely outside our control. You are responsible for the prompt unpacking of shipments. We are not responsible if your order is stolen or damaged after it is delivered.
Unfortunately, we can not offer any refunds or replace any items that have been damaged during the shipping process, or do not arrive frozen. UPS will not guarantee or provide any reimbursement to us and as a small business, we simply can’t afford the costs of refunding or replacing delayed or damaged shipments. All items are final sale. By placing an order that requires shipping you are accepting these terms.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of the products we sell, products cannot be returned for refund once they have been delivered. Please check your order carefully upon receipt. If you have any concerns about your order, please reach out to us at email@example.com. Please do not discard any product or packaging until you have contacted us (if we sent the wrong item, we may ask you to hold it until we can arrange for a pick-up). It’s also a great idea to take a picture of anything you want us to know about (good or bad).

Local delivery is available for the metro Atlanta area. Orders are hand delivered from our freezer to your door ensuring your pet's food goes directly to your home and arrives on time. We deliver Mondays through Fridays between 5 AM - 9 AM and 1 PM - 3 PM. Select "Atlanta Delivery", enter your zip code to check if you're eligible for delivery and then choose a delivery date and time slot that is convenient for you.
Can I leave a cooler by my door?
You are welcome to leave a cooler by your door if you would like your food placed inside of it. Please let us know in the notes where the cooler will be located so we can let our delivery driver know where to look for it.
When will my subscription order be delivered?
Subscription orders will be delivered on the same day each week during the time slot that works best for you. We'll contact you to verify your recurring day and time when you sign up for the subscription service.
Where should I enter delivery instructions?
Please add any special instructions such as gate codes or specific locations to drop off your order (back porch, side door, etc). These can be added in the “Notes” section of the cart.
Will I receive a notification once delivered?
If you're subscribed to email updates, you'll also receive an email notification with a delivery photo once your order has been delivered. If you would like to receive a text when your food has arrived, let us know in the “Notes” section of the cart.
Can you reuse my delivery box?
We love to recycle so please feel free to leave your bags or boxes out from previous deliveries to be reused.
Atlanta delivery rates are based on driving distance in miles from our facility located in Mechanicsville, Atlanta. Your exact rate will be shown once you enter your address before checkout.

In your cart select "Pickup", choose a date and time that works for you and then simply pick up your order at that time. We'll contact you if we have any questions about your order, otherwise it will be in the freezer at the time you selected. Please feel free to contact us if you need to adjust your order or pickup time.

Where is your pickup location?
We’re located in The Railyard complex in the Mechanicsville neighborhood. Once you pull into the complex, turn right and drive to the end where you’ll see a #6 painted on the wall. Park anywhere and come up the steps on the right side of the patio that’s to the right of the #6. Walk through the doors on the left and you’ll see the pickup area. Grab your order from the pickup freezer that has your pickup day on it. This is a contactless pickup.
Treats may be picked up, locally delivered or shipped. Orders that are for treats only ship throughout the contiguous US for $10 via UPS Ground.
