We're Matt and Tina, the husband and wife team behind Rebel Raw. We started this company because we believe cats and dogs deserve real food — not processed fillers or mystery ingredients, but actual meat, organs, and bones made the way nature intended.


Our small team works out of our Atlanta HQ, handcrafting every recipe from scratch each week. Every pack is filled and weighed in-house. No co-packers. No shortcuts. Just a crew of people who genuinely care about what goes into your pet's bowl.


We source our ingredients from local farms and restaurant purveyors we trust, and that commitment hasn't wavered since day one. Human-grade, biologically appropriate, and made with intention. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it always will be.

We started Rebel Raw because we wanted better for our own dog and cats. Over a decade later, that same drive shapes everything we make. Our meals are AAFCO-complete and handcrafted in-house using human-grade, responsibly sourced ingredients. No co-packers. No shortcuts. Just real food made by people who genuinely care about what goes in your pet's bowl.

How it started...

2013

We initially fed what we thought was the best dry food available, but upon researching raw diets, it made perfect sense to switch. After a few weeks of feeding our cats commercially available raw food we noticed remarkable improvements in their fur, breath, activity level, and overall health. Their coats became softer and shinier, their breath improved, they were more playful, and the litter box was easy to deal with, thanks to small, odorless poops. Their weights stabilized to a healthy range after just a few weeks.

When we adopted Victory, our first dog, from Friends to the Forlorn pitbull rescue, we immediately started her on a raw food diet. The compliments on her shiny coat, fresh breath, vitality and perfect physique were endless.

Homemade fresh food journey

2014

As our family grew, buying frozen raw food became expensive and inconvenient. We decided to invest in a meat grinder to make our own raw food using fresh, local meats and vegetables. We diligently researched nutritional guidelines and veterinary advice, ensuring our homemade raw meals were safe and nutritious. Soon, we were also making food for our friends' cats and dogs, who loved it too. After obtaining the necessary approvals and licenses, Rebel Raw was born.

Today

Rebel Raw has grown into a passionate team of dedicated individuals who work together to make feeding real food to cats and dogs as easy as possible. We’re proud to deliver thousands of meals every month, helping pets thrive and live longer, healthier, and happier lives. While we’ve come a long way, our mission remains the same: providing exceptional customer experiences and making it easier than ever for pet owners to feed their beloved companions real, wholesome food.


On the human side of things, we’re equally committed to our team. We’re proud to offer living wages and 100% paid health insurance because we believe in taking care of the people who help make Rebel Raw what it is today.
