Dog feeding guide
Our feeding guidelines are based on the average caloric needs of an indoor, spayed or neutered adult dog. These recommendations are a starting point for determining how much raw dog food to feed. Keep in mind that every dog is different—just like people, dogs have unique metabolisms and nutritional needs.
Several factors can affect how much raw food your dog requires, including age, activity level, breed, and overall health.
- Less food may be needed if your dog is older, less active, or has a slower metabolism.
- More food may be needed if your dog is energetic, or highly active.
