Now Serving Lamb!

Mar 9, 2017
Lamb is an excellent source of high-quality protein and essential amino acids, providing vital nutrients for your cat or dog. Add some lamb regularly to your pet's diet to diversify proteins and for a boost of zinc.

One of the biggest benefits of feeding lamb is that it is a great natural source of zinc, a mineral that affects many fundamental processes, including immune functioning. Zinc is critical to immune function, essential in wound healing and normal cell division. Zinc also helps cats and dogs stabilize blood sugar levels and metabolic rate. It is also necessary for an optimal sense of smell.

Our lamb is human grade and restaurant quality. It’s grass fed and pasture raised in New Zealand. Most commercial pet foods use "lamb meal” or mutton, which is made from older sheep. Lamb meal is what’s left when all of the meat for human consumption has been removed. All lamb tissues, hair, hoof, horn, hide trimmings, manure, stomach and rumen contents are ground up together and cooked. This is called rendering. After these leftovers have been rendered, the dried solids are added as "meal" to pet food. Rest assured there’s none of that happening here. We serve 100% top quality lamb. It's the same lamb you find in restaurants.
